　　The monitor of his class quickly called Mark's father and asked him to come to the hospital at once. After a while,Mark's father came and the operation began in no time. Several days later,Mark recovered.

　　Snakes are cold-blooded animals. In winter they hibernate ① in holes which are narrow enough only to hold the snakes' bodies. The snakes can sleep through a whole winter without eating and moving.
