　　周五早上，英语李老师帮我和其他4个同学报了学校的英语兴趣班，我知道了非常高兴，李老师微笑着对我说：“假如你非常想上英语班，那得靠自已的努力，不是所有人都能选上的哟，因为有一轮小小的淘汰赛！”我听李老师这么一说，原本高兴的心情马上就收了几分，还感觉到心跳加快了些。

　　午休的时候，我正在津津有味的.看书，有位老师走进教室说：“请报上英语班的同学去报告厅集合。”哎呀！我都快忘了英语选拔这件事儿了！我那小小的心脏顿时紧张得像岩浆漫延开来。我和几个同学一起来到了报告厅，只见两个老外在向我们招手哩！接着老外开始和我们挨个的用英语交流，看着前面同学有顺利过关的，我也跟着一起开心，而没有通过的同学垂头丧气，我莫名的心里直打鼓。

　　终于轮到我了，给我测试的外国老师是位黑人，很热情开朗，他用英语简单的和我对话交流，刚开始我因为有些小紧张，没听清老师说的英文意思，没想到老师竟然用中文告诉我，我马上流利的回答，接下来我都能非常自然的和外国老师对话交谈，我发现淘汰赛其实并没有想像的那么恐怖呀！测试结束，在焦急的等待中，结果终于出来了！如我所愿，我真的被选上啦！我好兴奋哦！

　　这次英语选拔赛对我来说真是一件很有意义的事，妈妈常说，机会是给有准备的人，我觉得在这次选拔赛中真的用到了，以后我会更用心的学习英语！

　　我的英语老师姓钟，我们都叫她钟老师。钟老师个儿较高，头发金黄金黄的，有一双明亮的、会说话的大眼睛。钟老师性格外向，爱说话，跟我们这一群活泼、开朗的孩子在一起就更外向了。

　　前面提到钟老师有一双会说话的眼睛，大家一定很奇怪：“眼睛怎么会说话呢？”别急，听我慢慢讲。

　　一次，我回答问题时回答得非常精彩，老师就用鼓励的眼光看着我，眼角的鱼尾纹一下子舒展开了，还给我发了一张卡片，我心里美滋滋的，高兴极了。

　　记得还有一次，上一节课是数学课，有非常非常多的课堂作业要下课时才布置，又必须在上下一节课之前做完。我做完了所有的课堂作业以后，已经要打上课铃了，没时间拿录音机了。钟老师一来，看见没有录音机，便用责备的眼光看着我，我心里狼狈极了，赶紧把录音机拿下来，才没有耽误多少上课的时间。

　　我心里越来越喜欢钟老师那双会说话是眼睛，对钟老师也越来越尊敬了，因为钟老师让我们能与世界轻松交流！
