During the 15 days from New Year’s Eve to Lantern Festival, Beijing was affected by smog for more than half the time, because of which people suffered a lot. On the road people drove slowly because they could not see clearly. People also suffered from many illnesses caused by smog.
The smog in Beijing has been caused by many factors, in which the increase of cars in the city area plays an important role. The cars send off a lot of poisonous gases, which in turn adds to the already serious air pollution.
In my opinion, the number of cars should be limited. We should call on the people to use more public transport. Only in this way can we expect to have more sunny days.
在从除夕15天至元宵节，北京受烟雾一半以上的时间，因为这些人吃了不少苦头。在路上的人慢慢地开，因为他们无法看清楚。人们还遭受引起的烟雾许多疾病。

写完英语作业，我就让妈妈上楼来检查。但是却随手把英语书放到书桌下的抽屉里了。因为英语书被我在学校涂涂抹抹，弄得破烂不堪了。所以我不敢让妈妈看到，如果妈妈看见了不堪入目的英语书，非揍我一顿不可！
检查完英语作业，我把英语作业本往书包里一放，就睡觉去了。可是，英语书还躺在抽屉里呢！
第二天下午到了学校，上英语课的时候，英语老师说：“同学们，把英语书拿出来，我们复习一下昨天学习的单词。”我就低头去找英语书。
我先在课桌里找，没找到，不由紧张了起来。然后，赶紧翻书包，还是没找到，于是就更紧张了。第三次找的时候，我把书包和抽屉翻了个底朝天，竟然还是没找到。此时此刻，我的心情既紧张又害怕。，小心脏咚咚咚直跳。同桌见我没拿英语书，赶紧把自己的书移到中间和我一起看。我很感激同桌，但是心里还是七上八下的:英语书不在学校，难道在家里？
回到家，我着着急忙慌地对奶奶说：“奶奶，我的英语书不见了。”奶奶就陪我到书店，准备买一本回家。可是书店关门了，我闷闷不乐地和奶奶回了家。
第三天，我在书桌上写作业，觉得很无聊，就想看看书，结果却在抽屉里发现了英语书。心想：英语书又没有长腿，他怎么就跑到书桌的抽屉里去了呢？经过一番苦苦地思索，才记起来：原来是我自己健忘，忘记把英语书装进书包里了啊！
英语书就这样失而复得了，以后我可要坚决改掉粗心健忘这个毛病。

但是回想起往事，我曾是一个多么幼稚无知的小孩呀。那时候，我不爱学习，也不知道学习有什么用。特别是英语，一看到26个字母就头疼。上英语课时，老师念“A”，我就小和尚念经——有口无心似的跟着念。心想这不就是我们上一年级时学的汉语拼音吗？怎么一会儿这样念，一会儿又那样念，真把人弄糊涂了。再一想，反正就这40分钟，混过去就算了。还不住地埋怨“英国人”，为什么要发明这么难念难写难记的“英语”。“汉语”多顺口哇！就为这，我还没少挨爸爸妈妈的“批”呢！
是一个偶然的机会，使我爱上了英语，并对英语产生了兴趣儿。那是一个无聊的星期日，我实在没事干，看见桌子上放着英语书，就随便翻了几页。忽然间，我觉得使用英语国家的人很聪明，发明了英语。26个字母中有的像小蝌蚪儿，有的像小鱼儿，有的像小椅子儿，有的像小门洞儿，有的像……单凭这26个字母就能拼成成千上万的英语单词，就能成为世界上那么多国家的通用语言，真是不可思议！就因为对英语有了好感，我将自己的想法告诉了爸爸妈妈，他们又顺势引导了我，并给我讲了许多学习英语的好处，更加坚定了我要学好英语，探索英语奥妙的决心，小学生优秀作文《我对英语感兴趣儿啦作文》。

7月26日至8月9日，我在华美学校参加了夏令营，度过了一段有趣又快乐的时光。
夏令营里的学习与生活多姿多彩，不仅有快乐无穷的外出活动，还有精彩的校内活动，水上拔河比赛、水上捉鱼比赛、嘉年华活动等，都让人流连忘返。然而，最有趣的是每天晚上六点半至七点的英语角活动。活动的'基本要求是：你要在课堂上有好的表现，老师就会发给一张可以到英语Shopping购买商品的钱币。这种钱币硬硬的，外表图案是美元的一元币，其实这就是华美夏令营特制的仿真美元。如果你没有获得美元，四年级以下的小朋友用英语说上四五句话，四年级以上的大孩子用英语说上十句有难度的话，也可以买到一些东西。这是一个英语活动，要求全程都用英语对话。英语Shopping配有一个外教和两个助教，他们相当于商店老板与店员。每天晚上六点半至七点就是英语Shopping的开放时间，有许多小朋友排着队，拿着自己英语课上得来的仿真美元来购买自己喜欢吃的东西。每天晚上的这个时候，在英语Shopping外面排队的人特别多，真可谓是摩肩接踵，把外教和助教忙得不亦乐乎。当然，来英语Shopping买东西的人以低年级的比较多，虽然排队有点累，但从英语Shopping的活动中，他们可以锻炼自己的英语口语，让自己学到的英语知识得到运动。如果自己的英语口语不是很好，可以通过这个活动得到加强。
这是一个别具一格的英语教学活动。在这个夏令营中我也经常会参加这个活动，让我们收获了成绩，更收获了快乐！
